A Course in Miracles (ACIM) is an advanced, nearly 1,300-page self-study psychospiritual training program. Scribed by Helen Schucman, PhD, with the assistance of William Thetford, PhD, while both served as research and clinical psychologists at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons (1965–1972), ACIM presents itself as the Voice for God—identified with Jesus and the Holy Spirit—offering a systematic path to spiritual awakening.

At its heart is an advanced forgiveness technology, where the student learns to identify and release discordant states of thought and emotion—fear, guilt, lack, imperfection, and all forms of separation.
